I am not an editor. Anything posted here, unless otherwise noted, is unedited. That means it’s straight out of my head and onto the page.

Additionally, unless otherwise noted, everything is written by me using traditional typing. It’s not written by AI. I use AI a ton in my daily work. To some extent, this will be my reprieve from that work.
My focus on this website is, primarily, the written word. It’s my own fun little war against the tyranny of the blank page. This is in spite of, or perhaps because of, the fact that no such tyranny actually exists anymore. Any one of use can press “The Button” as it has so eloquently been dubbed by a writer I follow on substack. The Button is simply the concept of using generative AI to generate content. The tyranny of the blank page is no longer a true threat because any one of us at any time can press The Button, and have inspiration, ideas, tidbits, tedium or a complete work written for us in mere seconds.
I write to remind myself that I can. I write to remind everyone else that it is still possible. I write to practice the joy of just fucking writing.
Even if no one reads it.
What to Expect
At times you’ll get concise, punchy, meaningful reads chock full of Gabe-isms.
At other times, you might have to wade through a bunch of my mental bullshit to get to the point.
However, my promise is to always be authentic.
I might not always live up to that promise. I may revise, unpublished, erase, rewrite and redact. But I’ll try my best to keep that to a minimum.
Again, this website is primarily focused on the written word. Symbols attacking the blank page. But I may eventually branch into other media. I find my style particularly suited to video.
But I am not a visual artist by nature, even if I am by trade. So try not to judge the aesthetic too harshly. Although I am always open to constructive criticism.
